1. Using Otinerary
You may use Otinerary to create private Trips, collaborate with invited members, organize Places, publish sanitized public itinerary snapshots, discover public itineraries, save private bookmarks, and fork independent copies. You are responsible for using the service lawfully and for the activity performed through your account.
2. Accounts and security
Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials and invite codes, and use only accounts and Trips you are authorized to access. Notify Otinerary through the available Contact path if you believe an account or Trip is being misused. Otinerary may restrict access when needed to protect users, the service, or applicable legal obligations.
3. Your content and collaborators
You remain responsible for the content you enter and for having the rights needed to use it. You authorize Otinerary to host, process, and display that content as needed to provide the features you choose. Trip owners and members should coordinate before editing shared plans or inviting others.
4. Publishing is explicit
A private Trip is not public by default. An owner must intentionally Publish a separate sanitized snapshot. Once published, that snapshot can be viewed through public Otinerary surfaces and may be Saved or Forked by other users. Unpublish before editing the private source, then Republish to refresh the public itinerary.
5. Save, Copy, and Fork
Save is a private bookmark. Forking creates a new independent private Trip from the public snapshot, not from the original private Trip. The copied Trip belongs to its new owner and may remain even if the source publication or source account is later deleted. Public Copy counts represent unique successful copying relationships where tracking is available.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Otinerary to violate law or others' rights, access another person's account or private Trip without permission, distribute malicious or abusive material, probe or bypass security controls, overload Otinerary or its service providers, scrape restricted content, or automate requests in a way that disrupts service or creates uncontrolled provider cost.
7. Maps, search, and other services
Otinerary uses Geoapify for Place search and Walk, Drive, Bike, and Rideshare estimates. When enabled, Transit estimates use the Google Routes API, while itinerary maps use the Google Maps JavaScript API. Supabase provides authentication, data storage, and the global Transit call ceiling; Vercel hosts the app; and Resend delivers account-recovery emails. Place, map, route, and service information may change or be incomplete, and Transit results are not real-time status.
Your use of Google Maps features is also subject to the Google terms and privacy policy below. Geoapify's terms and privacy policy are also linked below. Do not remove or obscure attribution displayed with maps or provider data.
8. Travel and route information
Itineraries and route estimates are planning aids, not professional travel, safety, legal, or emergency advice. Conditions, opening hours, accessibility, reservations, prices, transit availability, and routes can change. Verify important details with the relevant provider and use your own judgment before and during travel.
9. Service availability and changes
Otinerary may change, suspend, or discontinue features and cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow to be limited.
10. Service and user intellectual property
Otinerary's branding, interface, and service code are separate from user-provided content and third-party map and Place content. These Terms do not transfer ownership of your original content to Otinerary or grant rights in content owned by another user or service provider.
11. Account termination and deletion
You may delete your account through Profile while signed in. Account deletion follows the data lifecycle described in the Privacy Policy, including survival of independent Trips already copied by other users. Otinerary may suspend or terminate access for material misuse, security risk, or legal necessity.

Questions about these Terms or use of Otinerary should use Contact and account help. Do not include passwords, recovery links, session tokens, invite codes, or private Trip content in a support request.
